Terms of service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website and your purchase of goods from Baltic Woodcrafts. By placing an order or using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Website or purchase goods from us.

2. Definitions

Seller (“we”, “us”): Židrūnas Miežetis, trading as Baltic Woodcrafts under business certificate No. IA216671-1 (see Legal Notice for contact details).

Customer (“you”): any person or business who places an order via the Website.

Goods: products offered for sale on the Website.

3. Ordering and contract formation

You may purchase Goods by adding them to your shopping cart and completing checkout. You will receive an order confirmation email. A binding sales contract is formed when we send a shipping confirmation email. We may reject any order prior to dispatch (e.g., Goods unavailable, breach of Terms, suspected fraud).

Custom-made Goods: you must complete our custom order form and meet the minimum order quantity on the product page. Production begins after payment is received. Because custom Goods are made to your specifications, they cannot be cancelled or returned once production has begun.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros (€) and include applicable taxes. We are not VAT-registered, so VAT is not charged. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Payment methods: credit/debit cards (Stripe), PayPal, Paysera, bank transfer, and pro forma invoice. Full payment is due at checkout; we do not store card details. Invoices available on request.

5. Order processing and delivery

Dispatch times: ready-made Goods within 1–4 business days after payment; custom-made Goods typically 1–4 weeks. Estimated delivery from dispatch:

  • Lithuania: 1–5 business days
  • Latvia & Estonia: 5–15 business days
  • Other EU countries: 5–20 business days
  • Non-EU countries: 5–30 business days

Delivery options include parcel terminals and courier. Costs are shown at checkout. We offer free delivery to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia for orders from €79 to €900. Risk passes when you (or your nominated person) takes physical possession of the Goods. Title transfers upon full payment.

6. Right of withdrawal

EU consumers may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the Goods. Notify us by email or via our return form: https://balticwoodcrafts.com/pages/return-form.

Return the Goods within 14 days of notifying zidrunas@balticwoodcrafts.com. You pay return shipping (we may cover it exceptionally). You are liable only for diminished value due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the Goods.

Exceptions: no withdrawal right for custom/personalised Goods; sealed hygiene items once unsealed; perishable items; or other legally excluded items. Final sale/non-returnable items are marked on the product page.

Refunds (including standard delivery you paid if the entire order is returned) are made within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the Goods or proof of return.

7. Defective or non-conforming Goods

If Goods are defective or not as described, contact us immediately. You are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund under statutory rights. We cover return shipping in such cases.

8. Customer obligations

You must provide accurate order information and keep contact details up to date. You must not use the Website unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that impairs performance or accessibility. If ordering for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

9. Return address

Returns should be sent to: Židrūnas Miežetis, Upelio g. 11, Kveciai, Kretinga region, Lithuania LT-97163. Use a trackable shipping method and keep proof of dispatch.

10. Liability and force majeure

We are liable only for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms. We are not liable for unforeseeable loss. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, war, or failures of telecommunications/transport systems.

11. Data protection and cookies

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Lithuanian law. Disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of Lithuania. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Final provisions

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. We may amend these Terms from time to time; the version on the Website at the time of your order applies. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
